Sri Lankan President to discuss mutual issues during his India visit on July 21
Sri Lanka is an important partner in India’s Neighbourhood First Policy and Vision Sagar. The visit will strengthen the long-standing friendship between the two countries and seek ways to enhance connectivity and mutually beneficial cooperation in all sectors.
Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe will arrive in India on an official visit on July 21 at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This will be President Wickremesinghe’s first visit to India after assuming his current responsibilities.
During his visit, President Wickremesinghe will call on President Droupadi Murmu. He will discuss a range of issues of mutual interest with the Prime Minister and other Indian dignitaries.
