Inauguration of Digital corner, Hindi corner and India Corner in Nepal-Bharat library
Nepal-Bharat library established in year 1956 in Kathmandu by Embassy of India presently has membership base of 3000 Nepali citizens. Nepal Bharat library has almost 68,000 books which include substantial collection on Indian history, economic, politics, Mass communication, medicine, engineering and other subjects.
The library houses a large collection of books in Hindi in which 391 new Hindi books have been recently added.
Today, Ambassador of India in Nepal Shree Naveen Shrivastav inaugurated new resources addition in the library like digital corner with laptops, tablets and wi-fi connection, Hindi corner and India corner. The library would provide artistic corner where young Nepali citizens can showcase their art and skills.
Nepal-Bharat library is epitome of Nepal and India cooperation for cultural exchange and strengthening education in Nepal.
