Bollywood celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Kangana Ranaut and more stars were spotted with heavily guarded security cover. These actors were granted security covers by the government after they received death threats.

Type of securities and what they mean

Six types of security covers are offered to government officials including SPG, Z+, Z, Y+, Y and X. SPG is a security force offered only to the Prime Minister of India. While Z+ security cover includes 55 personnel – 10+ NSG commandos and police personnel. Z category has 22 personnel (4 NSG commandos and 6 police personnel), Y+ has 11 personnel (2 commandos and 4 police personnel), Y has 8 personnel (1 commando and 2 police personnel) and X category includes 2 personnel (only armed police personnel).
