AOMSI holds conference on critical health issues including Cancer

The conference created an environment conducive to learning. The conference also included several pre-conference courses designed to equip participants with the latest developments in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

The 47th Annual Conference of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI) was held in New Delhi. Organized by AOMSI, Delhi NCR and Haryana State Chapter, the event was attended by over 1800 delegates, including respected national and international professionals, for a dynamic exchange of insights and expertise.

The event was based on the theme “Teaming Experience with Evidence”. It featured 200 keynote speakers along with 18 international speakers who had insightful discussions. The delegates explored current and innovative solutions in oral and maxillofacial surgery, discussed important topics like jaw surgery, oral cancer, fractures, craniofacial anomalies, orofacial pathology etc.

Under the distinguished leadership of Organizing Secretary Dr. Atul Sharma, Joint Organizing Secretary Dr. Imran Khan and Scientific Chairman Dr. Rohit Chandra, Conference Secretary Dr. Manjunath Rai, Organizing Chairman Dr. Ashish Gupta, the conference provided a serious platform for discussion of groundbreaking ideas and progress in the field.

As the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony, Dr. Rajiv Bahl, Director General of the Indian Council of Medical Research, showed important direction with his address in the program.

The event attracted over 55 national and international trade organizations to participate, showcasing the latest technology in the field. In the subsequent session, the entire day was dedicated to sporting events like cricket, badminton, chess and carrom at Raj Nagar Extension. The 47th Annual Conference of AOMSI 2023 was a resounding success, promoting collaboration and knowledge-sharing among dedicated professionals to advance the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
