ADDICTION TREATMENT FACILITIES

Budget allocation for National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR) for 2022-23 was Rs.200 Crore and an amount of Rs.97.51 crore was utilized. The details of the funds released under NAPDDR during the year 2022-23; State-wise are at Annexure-I. These funds are utilized for various activities covered under NAPDDR including preventive education and awareness generation.

The list of functional and approved Addiction Treatment Facilities (ATFs) in Government hospitals, State-wise being supported by Department of Social Justice & Empowerment is placed at Annexure-II.

This information was given by the Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Shri A. Narayanaswamy in a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha today.
