Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to present interim budget in Lok Sabha

The full Union Budget will be presented once the new government is elected following General Elections 2024.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Interim Budget 2024 in the Lok Sabha at 11 AM today. It will be her sixth Budget presentation as Finance Minister and will be the last Budget of the current Lok Sabha. Like the previous three full Union Budgets, Interim Budget 2024 will also be delivered in paperless form. The full Union Budget will be presented once the new government is elected following General Elections 2024.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman arrived at the Ministry of Finance in North Block on February 01, ahead of the presentation of the Interim Budget. The interim budget will take care of the financial needs of the intervening period until a government is formed after the Lok Sabha polls. A full budget will be presented by the new government.

Minister of State for Finance Dr Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad also arrived at the Ministry of Finance in North Block on February 01, ahead of the presentation of the Interim Budget by the Finance Minister.
