President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of Office and Secrecy to KP Sharma Oli as the Prime Minister of Nepal today.
Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav, former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Speaker of the House of Representatives Devraj Ghimire, among other dignitaries were present in the swearing-in ceremony in President Office Sheetal Niwash.
President Ramchandra Paudel appointed KP Sharma Oli to the post of Prime Minister on Sunday as per Article 76 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal.
Newly appointed Deputy Ministers Prakash Man Singh from Nepali Congress and Bishnu Prasad Paudel from CPN-UML have been sworn in.
President Ram Chandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed 21 ministers amidst a ceremony at the Office of the President on Monday. The Oli-led cabinet now includes ministers from NC, UML, Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) and Loktantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP).
Along with DPM, Shrestha was appointed as the Urban Development Minister and Paudel was appointed as Finance Minister.
The ministers have also taken the oath of secrecy and office today.
