No change in edict of December 2: Jathedar Kuldeep Singh Garghganj

Sri Anandpur Sahib, March 10, 2025: Giani Kuldeep Singh Garhgaj Acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and Jathedar Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib has categorically said that there will be no change in December 2 edict issued from Sri Akal Takht Sahib.

After taking over as Jathedar, Giani Kuldeep Singh Garhgaj said that no one can change edict issues from Sri Akal Takht Sahib. He said that decision will be taken to review committee formed to conduct recruitment to Akali Dal.He also said that Sikh community was facing hostile atmosphere in the state and Sikhs are being forced to flee from state and non Sikhs and non Punjabis are being forced in the state and only for votes political parties were not taking any step to oppose such decisions. He said that Sikh community was still waiting for justice even 40 years after 1984 Sikh genocide.
