SGPC enforces dress code in offices, bans pant-shirt attire

Chandigarh, February 26, 2026: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has introduced a new dress code for employees working in its offices.

As per directions issued by SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami, staff members will now be required to wear traditional kurta-pajama during official working hours.

Under the new guidelines, wearing pant-shirt attire within SGPC offices has been prohibited. The decision has been taken keeping in view religious decorum and the institutional image of the organization.
