Lord Mahakal’s second ride today, flood of faith on the second Monday of Sawan
On the occasion of Somvati Amavasya and the second Monday of Sawan, people along with children, queue up to offer water and bel patra to Lord Shankar.
The second ride of the world-famous Jyotirlinga Lord Mahakaleshwar in the month of Savan will be taken out today (Monday) evening with great fanfare in the sequence of the riders coming out in the month of Savan-Bhadau. Baba would visit Mahakal Nagar and know the condition of his subjects. During this time, God will give darshan to his devotees in two forms. Lord Mahakaleshwar will tour the city in the form of Chandramouleshwar, who will be seated on an elephant as Manmahesh.
Administrator of Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee and Additional Collector Sandeep Kumar Soni told the Hindusthan Samachar that the ride of Baba Mahakal will leave from Mahakaleshwar Temple at 4:00 p.m. Lord Mahakal will be duly worshipped in the assembly hall of Mahakaleshwar temple before the departure of the ride. After this, Lord Chandramouleshwar will be seated in a palanquin, and Lord Manmahesh will be seated on an elephant and sent on a city tour.
He told the Hindusthan Samachar that when the procession reaches the main gate of the temple, the armed police force personnel will salute the deity seated in the palanquin. After that, the ride will reach Ramghat via the traditional routes of Mahakal Chauraha, Gudri Chauraha, Bakshi Bazar, and Kaharwadi. Where God will be anointed and worshipped with the water of the Kshipra river. After this, the ride will reach Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple again via Ramanujkot, Modh’s Dharamshala, Kartik Chowk Khati Temple, Satyanarayan Temple, Dhaba Road, Tanki Chauraha, Chhatri Chowk, Gopal Mandir, Patni Bazar, and Gudri Bazar.
A new darshan system has been implemented in Mahakaleshwar temple today on Somvati Hariyali Amavasya Mahaparva. Visitors will be given entry to the temple through the three gates: Chardham, Bada Ganesh, and the gate located in front of the administrative office. Administrator Sandeep Kumar Soni said that lakhs of devotees are likely to reach the Mahakal temple on Somvati Mahaparva. Arrangements have been made for easy darshan arrangements for them. Visitors coming from Ramghat and Somteerth will be given entry to the temple from the Mansarovar Facility Centre via Bade Ganesh from Harsiddhi Chauraha. Devotees coming from Indore Road, Railway Station, Dewas Gate, and Nanakheda Bus Stand will be given entry to the temple from Mansarovar via Shri Mahakal Mahalok in front of Chardham Temple.
He said that devotees coming from Mahakal and the old city will reach the Mansarovar Facility Centre in front of the Mahakal temple administrative office. After Mahakal Darshan, the devotees coming from all sides will exit from Nirmalya Gate. From here, the pilgrims will return the same way they came to the Mansarovar Facility Centre. Shoe stands and other facilities have been made available on every route.

On the second Monday of Sawan, a large number of Kanwar Yatris and Shiva devotees reached Deoghar in Jharkhand. He offered prayers at the Baidyanath temple. The atmosphere in the Baba Bhootnath temple located at Mandi in Himachal Pradesh is Shiva.
