IND-W vs BAN-W: India defeats Bangladesh by 108 runs in second women’s ODI

In women’s cricket, India defeated Bangladesh by 108 runs in the second ODI, being played at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka. Chasing a victory target of 229 runs, the hosts were bundled out for 120 runs in 35.1 overs.

Asked to bat first, India set a victory target of 229 runs. The visitors made 228 for 8 in their stipulated 50 overs. For India, Jemimah Rodrigues hit the highest score of 86 runs off 78 balls while Captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored 52 runs in 88 balls.

In the first ODI played on last Sunday, Bangladesh defeated India by 40 runs in a rain-hit match in Dhaka. The third and final ODI will be played on Saturday at the same venue.
