Korea Open: Prannoy, Priyanshu Rajawat & Doubles pair of Satwiksairaj, Chirag Shetty to play their pre-quaterfinal matches today

In Badminton, India’s Men’s Singles players HS Prannoy and Priyanshu Rajawat and Doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will play in their pre-quaterfinal matches of the Korea Open at Yeosu today. 5th seed Prannoy will face Hong Kong’s Lee Cheuk Yiu in the Round of 16 of Men’s Singles. Prannoy registered a win over Belgium’s Julien Carraggi yesterday. Priyanshu, who defeated home favourite Choi Ji Hoon, will face top seed Kodai Naraoka of Japan.

Prannoy and Rajawat are the only Indians remaining in singles at the tournament. Men’s Doubles pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will meet combination of He Ji Ting and Zhou Hao Dong. In Women’s Doubles, Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand will lock horns with South Korea’s Baek Ha Na and Lee So Hee in the pre-quaterfinals. In Mixed Doubles, Rohan Kapoor and Sikki Reddy will be up against China’s Feng Yan Zhe and Huang Dong Ping in Round of 16.
