Parliament Monsoon Session: Deadlock continues over Manipur

The Lok Sabha was disrupted on Monday also due to the opposition’s demand for a discussion on the issue of Manipur and the uproar. At the commencement of the proceedings of the House, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary of the Congress from the opposition, demanded a discussion on the issue of Manipur.
Speaker Om Birla said that the government is ready to hold the discussion. Question Hour is important. Therefore, the discussion will be held after the Question Hour.

Earlier, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi told reporters outside the house that the government is fully ready for discussion at any time. The whole country is unable to understand why the opposition is running away from the discussion. The issue of Manipur is sensitive. The opposition is asked to discuss this.
