In Cricket, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan scored half-centuries as India declared on 181 for 2 in their second innings vs West Indies on Day 4 of the ongoing second Test, in Port of Spain yesterday. While Rohit Sharma scored 57 off 44 deliveries, Kishan remained unbeaten with a knock of 52 runs off 34 balls.
Yashasvi Jaiswal was dismissed for 38 off 30 balls. While India has set a victory target of 365 runs for the West Indies, the Caribbeans were 76 for two at the stumps at the end of the 4th day’s play. Tagenaraine Chanderpaul with 24 runs and Jermaine Blackwood with 20 runs were at the crease. Earlier, a five-wicket haul by Mohammed Siraj helped India restrict West Indies to 255 in their first innings. In response to India’s first innings total of 438, opener Kraigg Brathwaite scored 75 runs off 235 balls, but could not get the desired support from the teammates.
