Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 7 wickets in first match of Super Fours of Asia Cup 2023 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore

In Asia Cup Cricket, Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 7 wickets in the first match of the Super Fours of Asia Cup 2023 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore yesterday evening. Chasing a target of 194 for victory, Pakistan made 194 for the loss of three wickets in 39.3 overs. Earlier, opting to bat first Bangladesh were all out for 193 in 38.4 overs. For Bangladesh, Mushfiqur Rahim made 64 runs while skipper Shakib AL Hasan scored 53. Haris Rauf scalped four wickets for Pakistan while Naseem Shah took three wickets. Haris Rauf was declared Player of the Match. Pakistan will meet India next on Sunday while Bangladesh will be up against Sri Lanka on Saturday at the R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo at 3 PM IST.
