Hockey: India to clash with Italy in final pool B match of Women’s Olympic qualifiers in Ranchi

In Hockey, India will take on Italy in their final pool B match of the FIH Women’s Olympic qualifiers in Ranchi today. The match will begin at 7:30 PM Indian Standard Time. India got off to a poor start in the tournament with a 1-Nil loss to the United States, but they bounced back well to beat New Zealand 3-1 in their second game to ensure that they are well in the hunt for a semifinal spot, from where the top three teams will make it to the Paris Olympics later this year. The top two teams from each pool will qualify for the semifinals.
