Virat Kohli opted to withdraw from first two Tests against England, citing personal reasons, announces BCCI

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that Indian batting maestro Virat Kohli has opted to withdraw from the first two Tests against England, citing personal reasons. In a statement, BCCI assured that Kohli’s replacement will be announced shortly.

India is set to play a five-match Test series, the first of which will be held in Hyderabad on January 25. The second match of the series will be played on February 2 in Visakhapatnam. The series will conclude with the fifth and final test to be held in Dharamshala on March 11.
