India beat United States in their final group game of ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup in South Africa

In Cricket, India beat the USA by 201 runs in their final group game of the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2024 at Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein in South Africa yesterday. Batting first, a century from Arshin Kulkarni (108) and another fine knock from Musheer Khan (73), helped India put on a tall total of 326 for the loss of five wickets in the stipulated 50 overs against the USA. Arshin Kulkarni was declared Player of the Match. Earlier, the USA won the toss and put India into bat. Chasing a target of 327 runs, USA were all out for 125 in the stipulated 50 overs. For India, Naman Tiwari was the highest wicket-taker with four wickets. With this win, India will go through to the Super Six. India will now play New Zealand and Nepal in the Super Six stage at this very venue, the Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein, on January 30 and February 2 respectively.
