Snowfall in hilly areas and rain in plain areas of Northwest India will continue for the next two days. Indian Meteorological Department said that weather in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh will be mainly dry from the February 7. Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan are likely to receive rainfall activity on 5 February.

The Weather Agency said that there will be a fall in minimum temperatures by two to four degrees celsius during the next three days over the plains of Northwest India.

Rain and snow occurred at most places over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand on Monday. Furthermore, rain occurred at most places over Haryana, at many places over Punjab and Western Uttar Pradesh, at a few places over West Rajasthan, and in isolated places over East Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan.

Delhi witnessed a generally cloudy sky today with a few spells of rain. Maximum temperature hovered around 20 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was around 12 degrees Celsius. On Monday, according to news agency ANI, several flights delayed and flight operations got affected as a layer of fog gripped the national capital.
