In the Men’s Under 19 ODI Cricket World Cup, India stormed into the final defeating Hosts South Africa by two wickets in the semi-final at Benoni. Chasing a target of 245 runs, India overhauled the score posting 248 for 8 in 48.5 overs. Earlier, put to bat first, South Africa made 244 for 7 in the stipulated 50 overs. India had won the toss and opted to field.
India has been unbeaten so far throughout the tournament, leading the points table at the group stage.
