BJP unveils ‘Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar’ campaign anthem at National Council meet
The BJP campaign anthem ‘Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar’ was unveiled during their National Council meeting at Bharat Mandapam on Sunday, in preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The multilingual song includes lyrics in 24 Indian regional languages. It emphasizes the theme of inclusive development across various sectors, regions, and different sections of society, as asserted by the Narendra Modi government.
The BJP’s campaign slogan, ‘Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar,’ was introduced by party national president JP Nadda in January 2024, and party leaders across the country created wall paintings under this theme.
The BJP has initiated the digital aspect of the campaign by releasing this title song. The party has also launched the Ekbaarphirsemodisarkar website.
During the closing day of the BJP’s National Convention at Bharat Mandapam on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the past decade of his government’s leadership, noting courageous and impactful decisions.
PM Modi stated, “The last 10 years of our government stand as evidence of courageous and far-reaching decisions. We resolved tasks that had been pending for centuries.” He mentioned achievements such as the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, and the fulfillment of the ‘One Rank, One Pension’ demand.
Explaining the significance of the ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam,’ a legislation aimed at increasing women’s representation in Parliament and state legislatures, PM Modi mentioned, “We brought a law that guarantees more reservation for women in Parliament and state legislative assemblies after three decades. We also showed the courage to implement a law that puts an end to the practice of Triple Talaq among Muslims.”
The Prime Minister further said that BJP workers have witnessed revolutionary changes in the country over the last 10 years. He stated, “The BJP workers are fortunate to have witnessed revolutionary changes over the past 10 years of our government.”
On the inaugural day of the national convention, the BJP passed a political resolution titled ‘Viksit Bharat,’ highlighting the achievements of the BJP-led NDA at the Centre under Prime Minister Modi. The resolution affirmed the BJP’s commitment to returning for a third term, continuing its roadmap for holistic development and welfare.
