In German Open Badminton, India’s Sankar Subramanian to face Brian Yang of Canada in Men’s singles

In German Open Badminton, India’s Sankar Subramanian will face Brian Yang of Canada in Men’s singles round of 32 this afternoon while Sathish Kumar Karunakaran will face the Israeli Misha Zilberman this evening.

In Women’s Doubles, Badminton sisters Rutuparna Panda and Swetaparna Panda will represent the country against Germany’s Amelie Lehmann and Cara Siebrecht in the round of 32, while in Mixed doubles, Indian duo of Ashith Surya and Amrutha Pramuthesh will face Goh Soon Huat and Shevon Jemie Lai of Malaysia today. Another Indian pair Sathish Kumar Karunakaran and Aadya Variyath is also scheduled to play this evening.
