BAN vs AFG 2023: Bangladesh consolidates its position against Afghanistan in one off test match

In Cricket, Bangladesh has consolidated its position against Afghanistan in the one off test match being played at the Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium, Mirpur. Bangladesh resumed its first innings on Day 2 from the overnight score of 362 runs for five wickets. However, Afghan bowlers restricted Bangladesh to 382, scalping the remaining five wickets for just 20 runs.

However, their joy was short-lived as Afghan batters failed to live up to the expectation and were bundled out for just 146 runs, giving Bangladesh a first-innings lead of 236 runs. Bangladesh has extended its lead to over 360 runs with the help of a solid start it got in the second innings. Afghanistan will hope for some sort of miracle to win this test match.
