NTA releases 2024 exam calendar; dates for JEE Main, NEET, CUET UG, UGC-NET are here
As per the calendar, the computer-based examination of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main-2024) Session 1 will be held from January 24 to February 1, 2024. NTA has additionally announced that the examination of JEE Main 2024 Session-2 will be held from April 1 to 15, 2024.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the examination calendar for the entrance examinations of JEE Main, CUET-UG, CUET-PG, NEET, and UGC-NET for the academic session 2024-25. JEE Main is scheduled to occur in two sessions, one in January-February and another in April, while NEET and CUET UG will be conducted in May.
As per the calendar, the computer-based examination of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main-2024) Session 1 will be held from January 24 to February 1, 2024. NTA has additionally announced that the examination of JEE Main 2024 Session-2 will be held from April 1 to 15, 2024.
The date for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET)-2024 has been fixed in the calendar as May 5, 2024. JEE Main is conducted for admissions into undergraduate engineering and technology programs at institutions like IIITs, NITs, and various other participating engineering colleges. Additionally, it serves as the qualifying examination for IIT JEE Advanced. NEET UG, on the other hand, is the entrance exam for undergraduate medical courses at institutions nationwide.
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-UG for admission to undergraduate courses will be conducted from May 15 to 31, 2024. CUET-PG will be conducted from 11 to 28 March 2024. Apart from this, the examination of UGC-NET (National Eligibility Test) Session 1 will be conducted from June 10 to 21, 2024.

According to the NTA’s official release, the results of all CBT (Computer Based Test) Examinations shall be announced within three weeks of the conclusion of the examination. For NEET(UG) 2024, the results shall be declared by second week of June, 2024.The NTA has been providing exam calendars in recent years to offer candidates tentative dates well in advance. However, it’s worth noting that the tentative dates for ICAR entrance exams have not been included in the current list.
