Ministry of Tourism hosts grand inauguration for PATA travel mart 2023 in New Delhi
The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Travel Mart 2023 was inaugurated on October 4th in New Delhi by the Ministry of Tourism. Mart 2023 is being held at New Delhi’s magnificent International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC), Pragati Maidan. The Mart will be held from October 4th to 6th, 2023, and will bring together tourism professionals and business stakeholders from all over the world. The physical version of the Travel Mart is back after a three-year interval due to the pandemic.
PATA Chairman Peter Semone praised the Ministry of Tourism for hosting the event. he stated that the Mart provides an opportunity for members to highlight unique places, create networks, learn, and socialise for delegates from all over the world, and for business to expand. He believes that travel for life is a terrific project that should be replicated around the world.
V. Vidyavati, Secretary of Tourism, stated on the occasion of Travel Mart has proven to be a medium for tourism in the Asia Pacific area. She stated that tourism is one of the greatest unifiers, and PATA recognizes this as an opportunity to learn from one another. She went on to say that the life mission inspired travel for life, which focuses on greener, cleaner, and more harmonious development of all tourism locations.
The PATA prestigious not-for-profit organization committed to responsible travel and tourism development in the Asia Pacific region, is hosting the highly anticipated PATA Travel Mart this year. The event, which takes place in Bangkok, Thailand, features an array of activities that promise to be both educational and immersive.

State Governments from Rajasthan, Gujarat, Delhi, Karnataka, Telangana, Uttarakhand, and Madhya Pradesh, along with ministries such as the Handlooms Development Commissioner, are actively participating, presenting a diverse range of products.
